We are sad to report that George J. Novak, father of Association President Cathie Stevanovich, passed away at the age of 90 on Tuesday, July 2nd.
Cathie writes:
George was born in Chicago on January 6th, 1923, and lived a full life. George was always a responsible guy, always the place where the “buck” stopped. He was married to his wife, Sylvia, approaching 63 years when she passed away in August of 2010. George spent the last 3 years missing her greatly. He was the father of 5, Cindie (Minnesota), the late Greg (Illinois), Cathie (Illinois), Jon Robert (Illinois), and Peg (Iowa). He was the proud grandfather of 10, and had 9 great grandchildren (+2 more due in the next few months!)
