Lucille Perch of Atlanta has passed away

An extraordinary woman, Lucille Pech, 95, of Atlanta passed away on Saturday, July 13th at her daughter's home.

Lucille was a wonderful woman and enthusiastic volunteer for the Atlanta, Illinois, community.

Lucille was quick-witted, charming, always helpful and she loved being involved and a part of the Atlanta community. Services for her will be on Tuesday, July 16th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home, 202 NW Vine Street, Atlanta, Illinois 61723. The phone number of the funeral home is 217-648-2001.

Lucille worked at the Atlanta Museum as the curator. She was a founding member of the Logan County Tourism Bureau, member of the Friends of Historic Atlanta, Atlanta A-Team, Hawes Grain Elevator Society, Illinois General for Volunteerism, Atlanta Women's Club and the Route 66 Association of Illinois. She had volunteered at the New Salem State Park for 10 years.

Memorials may be made to the Lucille Pech Memorial Fund. Details will be posted later this week.
